Featured image is a photo I captured while trying to identify Reishi mushrooms in my backyard. One of those accidentally awesome moments, so I thought I would share the beautiful worms-eye view with everyone.
I cannot believe I am so close to finishing the first COMPLETE draft for Blood 4 Honor. Never did I ever imagine writing a book, and putting it out for the world to see, but here I am. I didn’t take the most traditional route in finishing the thing, but since giving myself a schedule and some accountability, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
That being said, I originally wanted to get revisions for the first draft done this year as well, but it took a little longer to get it finished than I first anticipated. But it’s all good. I will need some time to reset after this adventure before I sit back down and start pouring over Part 1 with a red pen. But you never know, maybe everything will go faster the second time around and I will surprise myself. Nothing is impossible.
I don’t want the fact that this is an unofficial draft to deter anyone from reading. I could really use advice and insight from other people. Because I have become so close to this story, I cannot always see where things may not be as clear as they should be, or just completely off kilter with the content.
Blood 4 Honor. Part 2. Chapter 13. Jai (offline-in editing process)
If you aren’t caught up, there is a complete chapter list on the Blood 4 Honor page of this site. It will take you to Wattpad.
Unless something changes, all we have left is Chapters 14 & 15 + an Epilogue. Less than 8,000 words left out of around 112,000. Wow. Just typing that out blows my mind. I probably have nearly 200,000 words written, including everything I have cut or changed over the years, but my hope is that with all the weeding out I did that it has made the story better.
