The End Of A Journey

I finally did it. After all of these years, I have finally finished the first complete manuscript for Blood 4 Honor. They all say the first step to becoming a published author is to finish your book.

Step One: Complete.

It is glorious. In a social media post I put out I said there was breakthrough coming with the completion of this draft. And there is, I just do not have words to describe it at this point. I feel light and floaty at this point, if that makes any sense.

Yes, I know I am no where near the publishing mark, but I am one step closer. The longest, most uncertain journey’s are 9 times out of 10 the most rewarding. So no, I am not helping support my family with my writing at this point in time, but that does not mean that it will not come to pass. I have seen many things in my life that I thought were out of my grasp, and with a little persistence and patience, they are now a reality.

Even if Blood 4 Honor is not for you, I hope you can come away with something from it. Please leave a review, good or bad, on Wattpad, Inkitt, or both to show your support. I covet constructive criticism, and would love to hear from you.

I will be taking a break from B4H to let my brain reset before I start the first round of manuscript edits, but I will not stop writing, and posting weekly blogs. Do not let it being a first draft deter you from reading it! The backbone and main premise of this story is complete, and I personally feel really good about how it turned out. Editing is just fine tuning some things that I couldn’t before without having the entire manuscript to look at.

Thank you guys for sticking around with me on this journey. I will be shifting my focus to releasing new products through 4theBeautyOfLOVE in the coming weeks, which I will share here as well as on my Facebook page.

Many blessings,
Emma Lee
