UPDATE: I have taken down the first draft of Blood 4 Honor from Wattpad and Inkitt. Any chapter links left will not work. I am editing and doing all the things for 2021 so I can look into publishing in 2022.

ATTENTION: Looking for Beta Readers. I have the first 12 chapters ready to review.
If interested email me at
emmaleejoy@protonmail.com

First round of beta reading will only have a few questions to answer. I mostly want your honest thoughts on the story as a whole, and any other thoughts on it that you may have. Documents will be sent as a PDF that you can leave notes on and email back.

What would you do to save the people you love?

Beware: Nothing is ever as it seems. Deception is the adversary’s middle name.

“I applaud your sense of honor, General. Although, I must say, blood for honor is a slippery slope indeed.”

Aella West, Blood 4 Honor

Blood 4 Honor is a post-war dystopian novel with, Fantastical, Sci-Fi and spiritual undertones, set in the ruins of the Piney Woods of East Texas. Iylara Vance is the daughter of one of the two war-clan Chiefs that rule the region, an indirect heir in her own right. When she is thrust into leadership unexpectedly, she feels unprepared, confused, and scared, leading her to make what she feels is the best decision to save her people in light of an all out war. But things are not always as they seem, and trauma can be…traumatizing. In the blink of an eye, everything changes, leaving Iylara blindsided at the turn of events.

Iylara follows the man she believes can help her save her people out of fear, but to continue to do so could actually be the death of them all. And yet turning on him could kill them all as well. Stuck between a rock and a hard place, she can only watch on as it all falls apart after being betrayed by a close ally.

Betrayal, love, and fear drive the heart of the story, and deception lurks around every corner. Will Iylara be able to rise above the situation her life choices have brought on, or die trying to make things right?
