What’s up, my peeps? I know it’s Saturday rather than Friday, but this week has been busy. I’m getting used to working during the day rather than at night and enjoying evenings off with my family. I even get Labor Day off!
I’ve been finalizing some stuff this week for High Heel Fight Club, and the release is getting soooo close. No date yet, but I will let ya’ll know.
Regarding my writing, I’ve gotten the handwritten scenes that I did in the school pickup line on the computer and even added a scene that will come later in the story that I came up with while half-asleep this morning. Since adding all that to my Word document, I went from around 17,990 to 19,550 words. I have a rough idea of what Chapter 6 will be, but it isn’t done yet. I am having fun with the little easter eggs that are getting hidden in this book.

That being said, I have figured out that I will need to dive into a rabbit hole of research for this book. If you don’t know, Blood for Honor was spawned from my obsession with CIA mind control, MK-Ultra, and anything remotely related, including drugs like scopolamine (all of which fuels my love for Far Cry 5 if you wanna talk video games, but I digress). I have done a little research on Russia’s involvement with mind experiments (since a lot of CIA research overlaps with Russian intelligence), but I have come to realize that I have to follow the white rabbit, as it were, to get the full story that I am trying to write. This wasn’t the plan, but if you know me, you know I don’t plan this stuff out anyway!
