Writing Update

So, I’ve made it past 20,200 words on ‘The Fire That Dwells With Water.’ If I continue this train of thought for a while, it is well on its way to catching up to ‘The Wild Assault’ which currently sits at 36,345 words! You can read a draft copy of the first chapter if you wanna learn a little about what ‘The Fire That Dwells With Water’ is about. You get the entire chapter if you have a full-access subscription. ‘The Wild Assault’ is of course the prequel to ‘Blood for Honor.’ I will eventually post the first chapter and other little sneak peeks for both books further down the line.

I’ve decided to submit what I have for the Familiars Anthology, even though it isn’t as long as I wanted. I could never come up with something to make it longer, and at this point, I don’t think it was ever supposed to be longer. That was just me. There isn’t a minimum word count for submissions, only a maximum, so we will see what happens! I plan on submitting it on Saturday after I have a chance to read through it again.

I am still waiting for my author copies for the 2024 Planner to come in. That one-week delay really threw everything off, but I’m not going to dwell on it. I’ll remember this lesson next year. If you want a copy and aren’t waiting for one from me, click here to get yours today! There are free shipping options.

I am still offering Editing Services in 2024, but space is limited. If you are interested in me editing or proofreading your book, click here and read about my services, and fill out the form if you are serious about some editing.

I have tinctures getting happy in their jars for Red Hawk Ridge Apothecary. I will also have some salves coming soon as well. They should be done by the latter part of January. You can go here to check out the Facebook page where I am posting updates.

And of course, the One Moon Herbal Study will wrap up in February. That doesn’t mean I won’t have more herbal posts, but this will mark a year-long monthly herb study. You can find all of the herbal blog posts on the Herbal Series page, plus a few others that were already posted before I started this series. You need a subscription to get the full library, but you also get extra content on most of the posts with the same subscription. For only $2.99 a month, you get a lot around here! If you are interested, I also have The Wonders of the Pine Tree page, which is the first little series I did.

Next year will bring lots of fun new stuff, revamped old stuff, and the completion of in-progress projects.

You can find all my links at the bottom of the page. Follow me on Social Media to get even more updates than scheduled here. You never know what I am going to get into.

Many blessings, and Happy New Year!
