I have officially hit 45,000 words for ‘The Wild Assault!’
I’ve been pretty busy with the Apothecary at night. Sales are going better than I expected! I have been able to write some in the mornings before work, and I’m still pushing at the wall that is holding me back from real progress. But never fear! I don’t quit, and with a four-day weekend coming up, I hope to tear it down and make some major strides in this story.
I would like to hit 50,000 words by Tuesday!
I still haven’t figured out what I want to do with the cover yet. I’m debating whether to keep the orange/yellow/red color scheme from ‘Blood for Honor,’ or going with with a variety of greens on the opposite side of the color wheel. I know it isn’t something I have to figure out right now, but I still like to have an idea. The fact that the cover idea for ‘The Fire That Dwells With Water’ came about so easily still blows my mind. I wish I could remember exactly how I came about creating the cover for ‘Blood for Honor,’ but it’s difficult to remember a lot of the process since it took so long.
