Weekly Writing Update

I’m back, but I don’t have anything to update other than I’m alive and my house isn’t squished! I intended to get some writing and stuff done this week, but I live in East Texas, which is now considered a disaster zone after a week of ridiculous weather.

We lost power a few times, each for nearly 24 hours, and several trees fell around the property, but thankfully, nothing hit the house. Some people in the area weren’t so lucky, and others are still out of electricity.

I’ll be back at the Farmer’s Market tomorrow, so if you are local, come see me at the Chamber of Commerce (8-12ish). I’ll have challah bread, pickled eggs, kombucha starters, books, and my Apothecary goodies. With all the rain we got, it’s too soggy to harvest more Mimosa flowers for jelly at the moment, but I hope I can have more by next week.

Many blessings,
Emma Lee Joy
