Red Hawk Ridge

This past week has been very productive, but not in the creative department. I finally got my house under control after three days of deep cleaning and daily mindfulness of cleaning up after cooking, picking up toys as I see them abandoned, and much laundry folding.

I finished Blood of Elves by Andrzej Sapkowski (the first book in The Witcher series), and I loved it. I’m almost halfway through ‘Time of Contempt’ (book #2). I’m intrigued with how the show did things versus the books. I was pleasantly surprised to find that ‘Blood of Elves’ started in Season 2, which made understanding the world much easier. I am also highly interested in the way Sapkowski writes. I know it’s translated into English, but still. It’s different, and I love it.
