Red Hawk Ridge

It was another uneventful week, and it will probably be like that for the next two weeks. We are busy preparing for the first day of school, and I’m personally looking for a job that can handle my limited hours.

I have not written anything, and the only reading time is in the morning over tea and in bed before going to sleep. My kid has decided that sleeping in our bed, underneath me, is the only way to sleep at night. If he isn’t getting squished, I’m getting hit in the face, and my long elf nose (my husband’s own description) is this kid’s favorite target while in a dead sleep. Welcome to motherhood, I guess! But he is a fantastic cuddler, so I can’t complain too much.
