We are starting a new school year and a new chapter of life. I have acquired a full-time job for the first time in 5 1/2 years, requiring me to wake up at 4 a.m. if I want any quiet time beforehand. As I take on this venture, I also have to relinquish some things.
I’ll still be writing, but I won’t have the morning time to write like I did at my previous job before the summer holidays began. I’ll be adjusting to this new schedule for a week or two, and I’ll see what I can fit in. These Weekly Writing Updates will become Writing Updates, where I document significant progress rather than whatever I did in one week. That means there won’t be steady weekly updates unless I have something worth saying and the time to get more writing done.
This phase of life will not be easy, but it is necessary given the economy’s current state. I don’t particularly like it, but I will do what I have to do for my family. The fact that it isn’t the worst job I’ve ever had is a plus, even if it isn’t the easiest.
I still have my apothecary, with a few new products. If you want to check it out, click here and follow me on Facebook for any sales or promotions that may crop up while I’m not updating here.
Many blessings,
Emma Lee Joy
