A proofread is the very last step before publishing. This takes place once the book has been edited and formatted. It looks for consistency in formatting, page layout, and typos that have slipped through every other edit (there is almost always at least one).

-Word Usage
-Headers/Folios
-Chapter Styles
-Scene Breaks
-Paragraph Styles
Proofreading Does Not Include:
-Style Sheet
-Fact-Checking
-Story Issues
-Pacing
-Voice
-Commentary
Turnaround time is around 2 weeks (up to 4), depending on workload. Time will be determined in the contract.
Manuscripts can be any length for proofreading services. I even proofread blog posts!

A 50% NONREFUNDABLE DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF CONTRACT ACCEPTANCE.
*You will be invoiced after the project is complete with the remaining balance. Final documents will not be returned until final payment is received.
*Payments taken include Cash App, PayPal, and Venmo.
